So what does a wedding with Max usually look like?
Cocktail Hour
So what’s this soundtrack gonna be? Are we going jazzy? Hitting some R&B classics? Neo-soul?
Long before your Big Day comes around, we’ll have worked together to design your cocktail hour playlist, striking a delicate balance between the music you love, and the hits your family and friends will tap their feet to. No dance music though… not yet, anyway.
Time to Eat
What’s for dinner? Are we doing a buffet on the Big Day? If so, I’ve got you covered on organization. I’ll make sure your guests get through the line in a timely manner. But just a heads up; I’m not the type of DJ who calls out table numbers. I’ll head to each table, introduce myself, and invite them to grab their meals. I find it adds a personal touch, and it gives grandma a chance to tell me her favorite song before we get the dance floor started.
The Ceremony
Should you have me join you for your ceremony, I’ll have background music playing as your guests arrives, setting a mood that you and I will work to design to ensure it aligns with your vision for the ceremony.
Once the ceremony gets going, you can rest assured that every musical cue you’ve selected will be hit, and your officiant will be heard even by your guests in the back row. Oh, Mom’s got a poem? No problem. I have a wireless mic ready to go!
When it’s time for that first kiss as newlyweds, your recessional soundtrack will kick in. I’ll be honest though, even though I’m playing exactly what you wanted, you won’t notice. You’ll be too busy listening to your loved ones cheer for you.
The Grand Entrance
So how do you wanna do it? Are we going big and loud, or elegant and tasteful? Maybe a little bit of both? You tell me how to set the vibe, and I’ll do the rest. I’ll get your guests excited to welcome you to the reception exactly as you’d always imagined it.
Formalities & Speeches
Giving a speech can be stressful for anyone, so I’m here to help. Once everyone’s gotten a bite to eat, I’ll approach each of your guests who are giving a toast or speech, and I’ll prep them on how to use the mic, and offer some encouragement if they’re nervous.
After that, we’re off to the races! I’ll introduce each speaker, and then we’re ready for those special dances we’ve been waiting for.
For those dances, I’ll have your special songs ready to go, and if you want to shorten those tracks, I’ll work with you to find the perfect start and end points of each tune.
After that last special dance… I believe we’re opening the dance floor!
