“Max is AMAZING - by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our dance floor was packed for hours, and Max made every special moment stand out. He was incredible with the guests and made our speeches, dances, and dinner run smoothly. By far the most common feedback we received about our wedding was how amazing our DJ was - and for good reason! Max absolutely nailed it with the music and took things to the next level with the lighting and the cold spark machines. The only downside was sweating my makeup off because I was dancing like a maniac, and that was 100% Max's fault for making the dance floor impossible to leave. It was the best night and we couldn't thank him enough!”

“Hire Max James NOW! My husband and I are both musicians, so naturally music was a very important part of our wedding. Max was a blast to work with throughout the planning process, and we loved his creativity, sense of humor, and obvious passion and excitement for what he does. Our ceremony included a live guitar, piano, and 8 voice choir, all outdoors. We had a live jazz combo at our cocktail hour and envisioned an enormous dance party at our reception. Max made our vision come to life and executed all of our complicated sound requests with ease! Max is so fun and his demeanor makes him an awesome emcee. His DJ skills are absolutely out of this world - our guests continue to tell us, even months after our wedding, how it was the best party they'd ever been to, and how the DJ kept the party going all night. We couldn't agree more, and are so grateful to Max for all he did to make our wedding amazing!!”

“Max was a phenomenal DJ. Not only did he take our requests for what music we wanted but he also made sure that we were surprised with similar songs so we could jam out at our wedding with great surprises between the songs we expected. By song 3 my husband was enjoying himself so much he ripped his tux shirt from top button to bottom. It didn’t matter the age of patrons at our wedding; the children all the way to our parents’ best friends were drenched in sweat dancing their faces off by the end of the evening. Max truly made our evening exactly what we wanted without expressing it to him. He read the floor and made sure there was never an empty dance floor. It has been a year since our wedding and yet we still watch our wedding venue solely for the videos of the dance floor. It is an unreal experience every time we watch. Ear to ear grin watching the magic max produced through his speakers. We endorse him to the absolute fullest. We cannot express our support for Max as your next DJ no matter the occasion.”

“Being in the wedding industry, I had previously worked with Max before booking him for my wedding. When I got engaged, I did not hesitate to reach out to Max and ask if he was available. I even asked if he was available BEFORE booking our wedding date. So, I knew what to expect with the quality of his work. But, my guests were WOWED by Max. Not only by his talent, but also his personality and ability to keep everyone entertained for *literal* hours. Our dance floor was packed with people of all ages. From 5 year olds to 65 year olds, everyone was shaking a leg on the dance floor! Since our wedding day, I have heard nothing but compliments about DJ Max! Everyone in attendance at our wedding has continuously RAVED about their experience at our event! The dance floor was packed all night, we even had to move tables to make the dance floor bigger! All I have heard from our guests about our wedding has been compliment after compliment and that is no doubt because of Max. If you haven't heard already, the DJ can MAKE or BREAK your party. If you want your party to be MADE, please PLEASE hire Max. Guests won't remember what font you use on the menu..they won't remember those tiny things you are worrying about..but let me be the first to tell you they WILL remember a good dance floor! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. 100/10 for sure.”

He was very receptive to catering the music selection to what I wanted, had great sound equipment for the ceremony and reception. DJ Max made our party come alive! I had friends says, “wow, he’s like a club DJ, not just a wedding DJ!” Max also did a great job gauging the crowd and playing a variety of music that pleased the two stepping family from Wyoming, as well as more upbeat music for the city slickers. “We’ve worked with DJ Max at least 8 times now and I can guarantee you that no one in this entire state is better than DJ Max. We’ve been doing photography for over 10 years and no one even comes close to performing as well as he does. He’s able to keep every person in your wedding on the dance floor. 90 year old Grammy is gonna be doing the dougie out there, idk how he does it but pay this man whatever he’s charging and just have him at your event.”

“MAX IS AMAZING! Cannot say enough wonderful things about him, and neither can all my wedding guests. Best decision I made all around involving my wedding. My planner said in her 20+ years of wedding planning, she had never seen so many people dancing and out of their seats. He was an awesome MC, getting everyone involved on and off the dance floor and having a blast. The lights, music, mixes ... everything was perfect. Great communication, and he did everything we asked of him and so much more. He even was willing to travel all the way to St. Louis for my wedding. “Max is the BEST DJ and we would highly recommend him for any and all events! We just had our wedding on June 6, 2021 after having to postpone it from November 2020. Throughout the entire process Max was extremely helpful and committed to making our vision come true. The first time we met with him, we told him that the music was the most important part of the wedding reception experience for us. We collaborated with him over the next several months to build a playlist and curate exactly what we had always envisioned. It was really important to us that we also played salsa music as my husband is Venezuelan. Max did a phenomenal job incorporating salsa music and everything else we wanted. Our music vision was very specific and max exceeded everything we had hoped for. His musical knowledge is incredible and he is such a pleasure to work with. He was so fun and did a great job announcing at the wedding as well. He helped me pull off a surprise with the song I walked down the aisle to. It was also so nice having him there for our ceremony as well as our reception. He let my husband collaborate with him on music during the actual wedding reception. He made June 6th an absolute PARTY. Our entire wedding party and all of our guests speak so highly of him. We want to have another wedding just so we can hang out with Max again 😂 cannot recommend him enough! “If I could give more stars, I would. Max James was nothing short of incredible. We had him MC and DJ for our wedding this past June. He was so professional but also super approachable throughout the entire process. I am very particular about music and Max killed it! The dance floor was never empty and he did a great job at mixing live so that the party never stopped. I could not recommend him enough.”
